The Emprosopon Therapy and Counseling Center invites you to a series of lectures entitled:
“Life Changes and Predicaments” at Litous 10 in Marousi, Athens, Greece.
Each presentation includes one informative speech by a trained and experienced
Counselor followed by an experienced Greek and U.S. trained Attorney. A Q & A session will
follow each speech and there will be a break with refreshments between the sessions.

COUNSELOR PROFILES
Christina Tsofopoulou-Mastrandreas
Ms. Tsofopoulou-Mastrandreas studied Psychology at the Open University at the University
of London and post-trained in Diagnostic Psychology at the Institute of Group Analysis in
Athens. Her clinical experience includes psychiatric hospitals and clinics (Dromokaitio,
Simopoulos, Daou Pentelis) and at the Open Psychotherapeutic Center (OPC) in Athens.
Birgit A. Schmidt
Ms. Schmidt is a therapist and counselor born and educated in Germany. She studied at
the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and has been post-trained for four years
as a Couples and Family Therapist at the Institute of Family Therapy within the OPC in
Athens. She has been practicing therapy in Greece since 2004. She has experience in
conducting couples therapy, couples groups, family therapy, parenting groups, parents
counseling, psychodrama groups with adolescents and individual therapy.
ATTORNEY PROFILE
Arsinoi D. Lainioti is a Greek-American-Brazilian attorney with offices in Athens,
Greece. She was born, raised and educated in the United States and was a member of the
Massachusetts Bar Association when she moved to Greece. She has been practicing law
in Greece, as a member of the Athens Bar Association, since 1997.
Arsinoi is included on the Attorney List of the Embassy of the United States of America in
Athens and on the Legal Professional List of the Embassy of the Brazilian Republic in
Athens. She practices before the Courts of Greece, the European Court of Human Rights,
the European Patent Office and the Office for the Harmonization in the International Market.
As an expert in Inheritance, Family, Immigration, Real Estate and Tax Law, she has
assisted countless people of Greek decent who live abroad as well as foreign nationals
and companies residing in Greece to resolve complex legal issues.
She is a member of WING, Newcomers, American Women’s Organization of Greece and
The Friends of Canada. She alsoregularly publishes an English language newsletter on
topics of Greek Law.
